im after a detailed diagram of the bell housing that mates up to a 2L pinto in a 78 escort. with measurement and everything. is the manual and auto the same bellhousing? ive been searching the net and this forum but no luck please i need help on this so any info will help. its just way to difficult for me to take the box out and measure it myself

Manual and auto mount to rear of block using same points. Manual gear box has seperate bell housing, auto is integral to the gearbox to the point auto pump is housed with in it. Unfortunately I do not have the exact measurements, one of the lads over at http://www.classic-ford.org/ and http://www.rsmotorsport.com.au should be able to help.
