Default MK I Cortina Values

Just testing the waters, but my 2door MkI may have to go.
Its currently stripped and mostly in primer, was driven into the shed about 5years ago, only minimal rust in the drivers floor.
has a 1600 fitted and GT box.
I'll post up some pics when I'm back home next.

My ZC may also go if the right money is on offer

Any idea's on priceing would be great

I bought one in the late 90's for a slab of VB. True story, but perhaps not relevant...

I paid $400 in the late 90's for my Mk1 GT - this included a trailer full of spares of which some were offloaded for close to $300. It owes me a lot more now. Check out ebay as there is always a few in various condition for different money. The right person will pay good money for a straight, rust free 2door - more if it is complete. I paid $100 for a rusted out incomplete early Mk1 2door approx. 5 yrs ago. Stripped it, kept some stuff onsold the rest for a small fortune on ebay. So there is still high demand for these cool little machines. Pics would help. Where are you located? Good luck.

It all depends on how straight it is and the quality of parts, interior etc. The two door is well sought after so thats good.

At a guess, maybe $1500 as a rolling shell. MK1's are well and truely sought after but there are plenty of people out there willing to rip people off.

I'll post up some pics when I get home on friday, I repaired a couple of small rust bubbles in the rear 1/4's about 10/12 years ago. I was still driving it till about 2002. Interior is what youd expect for an amost 50yo car with a few cracks/rips in the seats and a period style steering wheel. no carpet.
Panels are all good, have found previous repairs in rhf stone tray and filler in the roof
Its been in the shed under a cover for almost 5 years.

here's a pic before coming off the road
