Just walking to work through Queens Street mall and up towards the casino end is a Shannons display with some weapon cars! 2 fords representing + cortina powered F1 styled car.
Tried to upload photos but not sure if they will work from my phone. |

Thanks for the heads-up, went and had a look - it's a display for the Historic Racing Car Club of Qld, promoting a race meeting at Warwick on 13/14 July:
http://www.hrcc.org.au/warwick.htm That XD is in mint condition. There is also a Ralt, a Sprite, and an E-Type. Shannons are there to promote the Trans Am race series as well (rounds coming up in June at Queensland Raceway and July at Lakeside). They have an original LHD '66 Mustang fastback and a '71 or thereabouts Pontiac Trans Am 'Trans Am Series' racecar (it's the white car in the pic on this page): http://www.transamracing.com.au/
