I have air con fitted to my MK2 Escort, some bits are missing so its not working. I bought the car like this, does anybody have any diagrams or literature showing the set up please, as I am keen to get it working again.
THANKS |

I've put Air conditioning into my Mk 2. There is a pictorial in the Workshop Manual (not the Gregory's version). I could copy that if required.
I'm using aftermarket compressor, consensor & receiver dryer but have factory evaporator and wiring. Raided a couple of Ghia's to collect all the necessary bits.

Hi
Mine looks like the factory set up, the dash control parts are missing, but the piping and dryer are still under bonnet and bottom belt pulley. I live in UK and this is all new to me and never seen the emission control set up either. I will get the air con working but just want to know what else I need, so any pics will be welcome. Thanks |

I have a spare AC at home for a MK2 if you want me to take some photos? I never fitted it as it's too bloody heavy.
