The story mentions Ford will make a Ranger pickup in the Wayne Plant. Does anyone know if this the Australian designed Ranger?

Thanks for the link mate , at the end of the day it's a business decision for ford . And Ford need to remain competitive in the market, it would be interesting to see the job numbers at the plant that make the mustang.

I saw a doco going back a little while ago how the engines for the Dodge Charger were made in Mexico, the level of detail those engines went through during the manufacturing process was simply outstanding.

A large number of cars imported to America are built in Mexico, i think its only second behind Japan.
