Hi everybody, I am trying to work out and value 50 Dick Johnson / Ford 1:18 scale model cars. I understand the value drops due to the original boxes have not been retained. [only certificates ]
What sort of % drop would there be? Any info and advice would be greatly appreciated. Col . b |

Every model will be different depending on how many where made, demands for particular shapes etc.
You may find some nutter who will snap up the lot, but your best bet is ebay. Model prices (even for the same one) vary alot from store prices to online etc. Personally, if the normal price is 200-220 for a 1:18 thats relatively new, and it didnt have a box, then I would be offering half.

Having a few Dick Johnson cars myself, they do vary a lot in price. Unfortunately, without the boxes, they drop dramatically. Everyone wants them in their best shape. As others have stated, this could half the price. You won't really know until you put them up for auction, or try to sell.
