Can’t be that hard to make them RHD can it.
The demand for these things in the states is out of control!

It’s sad that Ford never envisioned the Bronco as an international vehicle, maybe it saw Bronco simply conquesting sales away from Ranger and Everest…. |

If Toyota get the Tundra here officially, will they be scared of reducing Hilux sales? |

As for competition, Jeep sorta “came and went” in Australia, maybe that was a factor in the decision making process.. I would hope that Ford revisits the possibility of products like Maverick and Bronco Sport, they seem to have enough difference in segments where the competition is “all the same” but that would take a pretty big change in internal business plan for Australia which I doubt…. And of course, all these other products may cost more to deliver than any profits generated, complete WOFTAM? Last edited by jpd80; 26-01-2022 at 12:30 PM. |

My prediction is Ford will eventually sell the Bronco in Australia. It’s on the Ranger platform and just makes too much sense not to. I think they need to increase capacity and catch up with demand in the US and/or build them at another factory for RHD. I don’t think the limitation is assembly as much as it is getting parts to build them though.

The ranger doesn’t have irs, it’s a live axle with coil springs and a watts link. The bronco is similar, but with a panhard bar and not a watts link, for extra wheel articulation.
The tyres on this bronco are ridiculously big. The 35 inch tires you can get on the regular bronco Sasquatch package are 315/70/17, and these are 2 inches taller. |

Best we can hope for is Bronco bits on an Everest.
But I doubt we'll see 37s
