I don't think we get Street Fords over here but Performance Ford is a pretty good rag.

Both of the magazines mentioned are pretty good. Also worth mentioning the Street Machine presents Australia's toughest Fords magazine when you can find it.

I like both. They are both great!
"Street Machine presents Australia's toughest Fords" is also good but it only seems to be an annual mag. Street Fords comes out every 2 months, doesn't it?

It all depends on what you want to read about, I love fords, I subscribed to Performance Ford magazine, however I was looking for heaps of EA-BA falcons in it, they had a few but they mostly had old school cars, so I ended up subscribing to a different car magazine with more modern turbo cars. |

Street fords looks to be a great Falcon mag. I have bought both so far and intend to subscribe. Not bagging the other ford mags, but this one seems much more professional and put together betterer....er

Definently STREET FORDS. Just a more complete magazine and thorough read. Has fun with the magazine (Australia's largest ford magazine).

I am an avid fan of Performance ford and Street Ford magazine but also Streetmachine. Performance Ford is a superb Ford publication but Streetmachine is a little more interesting to read?
Maybe just me but I enjoy a little humour and silly photos too. I still but all of the above regardless but I prefer to see readers cars, Streetmachine falls down in my books because of the whole "showcar" thing. I have heaps of respect for these creations, but I love to see cars driven regularly. Any one else agree with this?

Also, all these mags tend to cover a lot of the same cars- Queensland street car is worth a read too.

i think if the quality is there maybe we could sustain 3 mags street machine Fords is a good mag but the first couple were just re runs of stories i have already seen in years gonr by Steet Fords well it might be pre match nerves but advertising how well your gen 3 runs on mobil oil cpoying the performance ford mag cover which i understand might happen time to time but first edition and those bull ringtones and phone wallpapers if i wanted a porno i would buy the real thing. Performance Ford Mag has been around a while and i think is going from strength to strength with its family mag approach with oz wide and nz drag reports and advertising on the street for readers cars up to date touring car news ,car club listingsoz and nz, drawing comp for kids ,giveaways for perford club subscribers and event calender they are also have stuck through a hard time when au falcons werent going to well on the track. I am not biast but know a good mag when i se it monthly ballsy effort guys well done

Love PFM. GF got me a subscription to it and I couldn't be happier. Good pick of cars right through the ages, bit lacking on e-series stuff. It's really come leaps and bounds in the last year or two.
Flicked through the first Street Fords, didn't think much of it, only got the second one because of the XE Ghia they had in it. I'll give it time. Street Machine, only started getting it about 9 months ago, haven't missed an issue since. There's a good mix of Ford/GM/Val in there. That blown 350 Chev in last month's issue is nuts! Love it! Also get Ralph every now and again, but I've found the last few issues pretty crap reading compared to other ones. |

PFM was around in the bad old days and I started reading it because it had the best drag racing coverage of any regular car mag and was the only Ford mag around when no other mag would even give a Ford the time of day, plus it always had plenty of fours and sixes which are my preference. Even had a pic of my EL in there once doing a burnout. A couple of the guys from the mag are in ford car clubs and they seem to love their fords with a passion, plus they don't indulge in their ego's as much on their own pages as you see in some other mags.
