Default unroadworthy?

I need to get a roadie for my car TOMORROW and transfer it under my name TOMORROW otherwise the reg will be cancelled by the previous owner!
I was going to get a dodgy one, but the bloke has moved to QLD.
Anyway,
As the car sits, I belive these things are unroadworthy (please correct me if Im wrong)
Front windscreen has a TINY chip, however NOT where the window wipers go, and previous owner (OWNS VicRoads, Hamilton) told me that would pass.
Left front door window winds up, however you have to force it to the door frame otherwise it doesnt line up.

THAT IS IT!
Everything else is roadworthy condition.
Got some new tires on it, all lights work, etc

Are those 2 things unroadworthy?
PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP!!!

Thanks!

Is it s chip, or a crack? How noticable? My EF has passed NSW roadworthy with a slight chip in the top left.

The window, take the door trim off, and see if the tack welds that hold the window tracks in place have come loose. If it has drill, and fasten with a small nut and bolt, until the time you get it done professionally (do it when you get your exhaust done. the guy should do it for free.) But I don't think they would be that thorough check the windows. Also silicone spray the tracks while your are at it.

One thing tho, make sure there is no oil under the engine. Treating your car to a good degrease will make her happy as well.

I cant open the door trims because I havent got the secuurity key!
Checked motor, no leaks, no grease...cleaned rocker cover though

It is a chip that is VERY small...and I noticed another that is even smaller!

Run a pen tip over the chip. Does it stop it? If so, new windscreen time.

actually with the windscreen, so long as the chip isnt in the curve of the wiper blade, isnt through both layers of glass, and isnt directly in the vision of the driver it can still be considered RWC. this was told to me by a RWC tester when i got the Fairlane done.

no its not in the drivers view, and no, it hasnt gone through both layers.
The privious owner (licensed rwc guy) told me it would pass...but maybe he was just saying that to sell the damn car!
