Today is a very sad day.
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....tem=4529189772 We need funds to finish off the next movie. Filming has now finished, so some lucky owner will take my pride and joy, it will be their turn to have some fun. I've had so much enjoyment from this car, its the best I've ever owned by far. I wonder what will replace it? Auction ends Feb 25th. cam Last edited by GTP 200; 19-02-2005 at 09:37 PM. |

Sorry to hear that, hope you get a good price. Nothing can replace her. You will always look back & wish you still had her. Good luck with auction.

Definitely one of the best examples getting around, that is for sure. A MkII on the cards mate? (after the movie is done and paid for that is)

Can I ask why you are selling such a high profile car on ebay? At auction?
Auctions are a terrible way to sell something so valuable. An auction just guarentees you will get the second best price. Once all the bidding stops, the winner is the person who pays the next step up in bids. How much more would he have paid? You really should be advertising this car everywhere, clubs, carsales.com, amcs etc, with a price quoting offers above $50,000 or whatever. Then as you get people looking at it and wanting to make an offer. You ask them to disclose their best offer in writing. But before they put the offer down you tell them that rather than haggle with everyone you are asking they put down their best offer and if this isn't accepted you do not need to contact them to let them know, or give them the chance to counter offer. This goes a long way to getting people to make their best offer straight off, not make low offers and bugger around doing haggling and playing games. And it also ensures you get the best price someone will pay for your car as if they really want the car they will make the best offer they can aford for it. As will all others who want it, you just accept the best one. Auctions destroy value.

Thanks for all your support guys.
I have a feeling the next 6 days are going to be very long. Thanks for your advice Black XR6, you sound like you have 'been there . . done that'. If the reserve is not met, I'll look at those options for sure. cam |
