You might have to modify the base of the mounting points with the boot because the AU has a droopier boot curve than the BA.

I saw an AU Hawk rear wing on an XD at the FPV show, so anything is possible!

which wing are you referring to that comes painted? We only paint parts that we are fitting.

You would be surprised how different the bootlids are. There are plenty of AU wings that we have available, and fit straight on...

cheers

where are the photos of that car..

back on topic..

i was at a dealership the other day, and there was an AU and a BA parked together and they had the SAME wing on it... its the small square wing off the BA that comes standard on the XR series.. looked good and stock

On my camera. I will post them up in the next day or 2 once the digital film develops! LOL. It was easily the stand out car of the show (for me, anyway)

I actually dont mind the Hawk wing on the back of the XD it has just the right amount of squareness to carry it off, but then again am a sucker for an XD it was my first Ford love, I think i was the only 12 yr old girl who lusted after an XD and had them plastered on her school books...Anywho back on topic *sorry guys* didnt mean to hijack

If you ask the guy who owns the XD, it's a T-Series wing!

An AU2 XR spoiler is the same as the BA spoiler, but they have different spoiler feet because of the different boot lines. The company I work for makes the spoilers for Ford.

I found it to be alittle different. I have the Herrod biplane spoiler for the AUII . I actually like the style of the BA biplane better but found that it does not fit. So the top of the spoiler are also different as well as the mount posts.

Yes, I did try explaining that to him at a show a couple of years ago, but alas...

I personally don't like the Hawk wing on the XD. Hawk wings are bad enough on AUs, let alone older, squarer-shaped Falcons.
