Default Petrol Station Drive Off - Owned on the net

Have a read of this thread. The guy did a drive off but he and the servo owner are members of the same car forum. When the owner posted pics of the drive off, he got busted.

All the above

seriously though, anyone that drives off when everyone knows there are cameras around are plain stupid...

The thread was an interesting read, especially the story about the mother being pushed in a family owned servo... That is not a tool, that is pure scum.

I wonder if this Intellectual realises he is stealing? Or maybe he thinks it is ok because he doesn't know the people? Someone HAS to pay for this? does he think the Petrol company will ABSORB this cost? Dum dum for sure.

It really appeals to my sense of humour that this idiot mods his car and fits personalised plates to make him unique and stand out in a crowd and then commits a crime in it......

Folks are dumb where I come frum........

What a bloody tool.

Nothing eventuated from that thread or the ausrotary thread though.. so it's not 'owned' yet.. it's 'owned' when he gets caught and deported for being a stain in the gene pool.

If he can't afford petrol, wtf is he doing with a rotor? (apart from sticking to stereotypes!)

I once drove off by accident. Didn't even think twice, just spun the car round and went back. They have camera's everywhere. Of course they will track you down!

Yes and the copper in there who was trying to lay the blame on the servo operator thinks it's toooooo hard to catch the grubs responsible. Fair dinkum, it's not like hes not getting paid to do his job isn't he. It's probably one of the easiest jobs to do, much better than going to a fatal.

I was hoping that guy that was posting as if he was a cop, isn't actually one.

It is morons like him that give decent Police Officers a bad name...

That bloke is almost as big a tool as the one that stole the fuel and both aren't quite as big a tool as the one that pushed the woman and owed the $300 odd dollars.

I dont understand why this guy hasn't been caught yet, everyone knows who owns the car. Agree Fiery, I dont think I would have been able to have as much constraint if someone had been pushing my mother around.

My 18 year old POS brother in law got done for it along with a bunch of his POS mates.

Someone pinched some plates of a car and then they got shared around this bunch of tools so they could all do drive offs at servo's around Frankston.

Frankston Traffic Ops are very active in the area because of the HUGE hoon problem in the SE suburbs. They got a rash of drive offs reported and investigated and identified a few of the cars invovled which were all wearing these stolen plates. Sure enough they pull over one of the group and found the stolen plates on his back seat. Whoops! Needless to say being arrested and questioned loosened his jaw a little and the whole group got taken down.

Turns out POS Brother-in-law has a track records of doing it including doing it in his dads car and being a the smart kid he was he did at the servo's down the road from his place 500m away. All in all he racked up $350 worth of drive off's. He did because he didn't have the money to pay for the fuel. Cops did his for stolen property, going equipped and theft. Judge went nuts, brother in law filled his pants but lawyer did his job and he got off with a $900 in fines (love the irony of that). Judge actually said that they are geting tougher on this because the number of drive offs is increasing like wild fire.

B-I-L ended losing his license anyway (p platers only get 6 points in Vic).

That's really funny, what a jerk.

My mother once drove off without paying, by mistake. The police came to her house and they were good about it, she just wasn't thinking when it happened. She went straight back and paid and no worries. But she got a fright.

happended to my boyfriend, went in to pay after getting it and brought something in there as well (like a drink or something along those lines) and the idiot at the counter only charged him for the drink not the petrol. paid by card so didnt think it to be odd.... the guy at the servo knows who we hang out with and a mate went in there and the servo guy goes "your mate the one with the EA can you ring him and tell him he gotta come back and pay for his petrol"....
so sometimes its not from the stupidity of the customer , its the person at the servo lol

i work at a servo and the above statement ticks me...
far enough if ur bf didnt get charge for petrol but if he knew about it shouldn't he said something about it on the spot? or he just grab the drink and assumes that the servo guy knows that he got petrol?

i'll give u a few storys
-------
a guy comes in and said pump 1, but is actually pump 2 the opposite side. pump1 is $20 while pump 2 is $90. the servo guy said $20 and made sure by asking him 'is he on pump 1 the red car'. he would at this point either said yes or ignor the servo guy. coz he said pump 1 . he was charge $20 and he left.
Servo guy get in from boss. That guy thinks he got a bargain
---------
a guy comes got a drinks, servo guy ask him does he hav any petrol. He ignored the question and. As he jumped in the car and drive off. Servo guy realised that he had petrol, ran out, and said to him that he havn't paid for petrol. He get annoyed and said i though you gave me a discount.
---------
guy comes in says pump 1, but really he is pump 6. Servo guy said to him you are pump 6. He said no and start cracking da CR@P to the servo dude. in the end he realised that he is pump 6 after the servo guy tries to explain to him why he is pump 6. No he didn't say sorry for cracking da CR@P.
--------------
and there is alot more storys i could tell you
Everyone assumes that you know where their car is how much this and that.
SO NEXT TIME WHEN YOU GO TO THE SERVO please remember your pump no. the amount and color is your car and even remember what car you drive.
------------
jokes from anger management..
goes something lik 'a guy coped $H IT at work and wen he finish he takes it out on the shop person. The shop person takes $H IT from people day after day and one day he got a semi automatic and shoot everyone.'
So pls take your anger out somewhere else!

but to all those people are always nice to us.Keep it up as it DOES MAKE OUR DAY!

hmmmm nothing new... people have done this for years.... two things come to mind.
(1) Stealing petrol is wrong - as the owner has to pay.
But
(2) Petrol co's have us over a barrel and steal from us ever day

I fail to fully understand why in Malaysia, I can buy 1 litre of petrol for 80cents? sure lower living standards/wages/tax etc etc, but jesus, soon we'll all have to fly to fill up cars. Really does it cost an extra 60c a litre to get it to Aust??

Hands up wow goes "right on" when a bank gets robbed, hmmm perhaps its only me.

In this case I can't use that as an excuse as the owner is out of pocket, if it was the petrol co's I would go right on... (and am sure they would be tons more)

Take banks for example. if every Aust took there money out of there banks for just one day, you would have reduced interest, and charges et al. becuase the banks would be in big trouble (and so would the economy..which is the only pit fall)
