hey!
i just got myself some WYNN's octane booster it say it can boost octane levels by up to 7 to dilute it into your fuel tank its says: use 1 bottle per 60 litres of fuel just woundering......if i had 30 litres of fuel and i put the whole bottle in, would it be wrong? would there be a difference? has anyone tried octane booster and noticed a difference? Note: to put in N/A BA XR6 CHEERS! : |

Zoom magazine did some back to back dyno testing of various octain booster a few years back. None of them raised the octain by more that 0.5 and some made it worse! Don't bother.

Why would you bother if your car isnt tuned to run on higher octane fuel??????
You MIGHT be better off spending your money on Premium 98 fuel, but all you will notice is a slight fuel economy increase, if you are lucky. Get an edit and then go for it.

the higher the octain the slower the fuel burns to stop detonation. therfor to get the most power you want to run only high enough octain so that your car dosnt ping. the only reasion you would need higher octain is if u had high compression or turbo and ur car is still pinging on premium petrol. increasing the octain in your fuel without increasing the compression will not gain any power.
