Hrrm i was expecting alot more than this with those pumped guards being brought up so much i was expecting a tough looking SS from what i can see it looks way too euro, very Non-Commodore...
I'll wait till i see some official pics before i pass my final judgement but from what i can see, BF sales are about to climb... |

Just being cheeky, however if someone labelled the shots BFII update spy shots how many would think "yeak it looks like a cosmetically tweaked BF/BA".
One positive for Holden as explained by a Ford engineer is that due to the delay in release the build quality should be quite high given the extended time to further tweak things by production line and suppliers... ...and thanks to the recently announced investmenst/work for Ford Oz, Orion is going to benefit enormously and allow greater amortisation of development costs allowing for a better featured Falcon as well as Territory. |

Edit : Ok I just saw some good pics, nothing like a GT. I don't mind the looks. People are saying the SS out performs the GT. Makes my XR8 look kind of stale. |

Just my 2 cents, but i like the silver one because it looks like a BA, but i hate the SS, because it looks fricken deformed!

If the last one is an SS prospective owners might want to move to a flatter road network so they don't tear off the lower part of the front bumper.

I've seen plenty of VE/WM cars now, and they are a good looking car. I think Holden will do well with them. My only gripe is the interior. It's very sterile, uninspiring.

Not making many judgements at the moment - those pictures are terribly blurry and dark to get a clear view of the cars design. The lastest spy shots are of much better quality.

i agree i think it looks very euro, even in the official pics
think the headlights resemble that of the ba/bf, and think it looks like a bigger astra once you get past those things its not a bad model

Guess I'll wait and see before I make judgement. Thought release delay was gunna be another attempt to launch it at Bathurst like Ford did.

380 rear end with an Astra front. The standard models will look very plain indead, something Holden obviously recognise by only showing the Calais and SSV.

always nice , and worthy of some thought . i'd definately look at next time i'm buying a ford. i've never swung betwen brands, but have always considered and always will . i like holdens too.
the car looks great with the flared gaurds. something as unique as a bonnet buldge the kit on the SS looks good , the wheels loook good as ( holdens wheels have always been great) the one thing i HATE ( off the pictures on the news. ) is the colour coded dash !!!! WTF. but i'll wait till i see one in the flesh. |

If I am wrong kick me, but I thought 80% of the commodore was made overseas, and was imported into aussie by the illegal fishing boats off the NT.
