Talking N.S.W & Queensland Cruise!!!!

Hey Guys,

I'll be coming up to N.S.W (Byron Bay) in mid september so i was thinking why not have a cruise or BBQ or a meet somewhere up there! I would like to meet some of the AU guys n gals up there!

Seeing as Byron Bay isn't that far from the Gold Coast so we could meet half way somewhere or up in Sufers or Byron Bay!!!

Ideas, Ideas thats what we need people!!!!!!!!!!

What do people think?

I would really like this is lift off!

Cheers

Simon : :evil3:

I'll be driving up too, not flying.........

I think Burliegh Heads would be a good spot on the Gold Coast to do this. If there's not going to be many AU guys there, do you guys mind if i put an open invite for the E-Series crew to join?

Also none of those dates in September are weekend days. Is this on purpose? I don't see many people being able to show up on a week day. I say the 23rd of September would be good, it's a saturday.

Tim I have been chatting with Simon about this idea of his and the 23rd is definitely out but maybe the Saturday before the Skid pan would be good the 30th September??? He asked me to contact you about this, but you beat me to it :

It would be good to have as many FORDS as possible...(but e-series have to be involved, it is the best looking cars ever made anyway - everyone knows this : ) **joking guys - maybe ** lol

Cheers

Oh fair enough, the 30th would work then. I've said this to Kerri already but I'll say it here too. I think this gathering should be confined to E-Series crew and AU people, no XR Club or FPV Club people looking down their noses at us. Just us and we'll have a fun day! Obviously after saying some thing like that there may be people who don't agree, let me assure you I'm open to constructive criticism.

Talking Awsome!

Well this is looking to be an awsome day!

Hmm...We don't wont to offer this to the XR Club or FPV Club? Wouldn't be good to have as many diffrent Fords as posssible?

Although we will be restricted to the amount of cars we can have at the park...Because the amount of car parking for the Show N' Shine! Me, Fiery & BI6TIM will look into this very very soon!

Cheers

After talking with Fiery, it would make more sense to have this in Brisbane which is central to the Gold and Sunshine coasts. So people from both those places travel the same distance. Plus if we do that I can drive the route first and make sure it'll work and we know where we're going (no getting lost).

Also X-Series guys are more than welcome at this event also, Fiery said there are some awesome X's attending the Fiery organised QLD AFF.com.au events that would be good to have there.

Now, on the XR and FPV club issue. That's is of course just my opinion, if everyone else thinks they should have an invite then so be it. It's just that every time I have had any dealings with people from these clubs (aside from Kerry and Drew of course) I have felt like I was less of a person for not having the 'right' car. Anyway what does everyone else think?

Talking Show N' Shine...

I don't really care....It doesn't bother me, but if everyone gets along and people don't look down on each others cars then no problem!

Sure a Forte is a basic looking bottom of the line Falcon but it's still someones pride and joy just as much as owning an XR or a FPV............... :eclipsee_

Cheers

Good point. I suppose the question is how many NSW members are going to show if it's at Byron or somewhere nearby?

Also, Hello Cam. Good to see you around mate. Hopefully you can bring some FastFords members with ya.
