Default idle speed

hey all...just cleaned the idle speed control....and checked it with car turns on...nearly stalled when i disconneted it...y would my car shudder or surge when slowing down..

have you recently had the battery disconnected? the ecu is probably learning itself all over again,give it a week or so of driving and all should come back to normal,if not maybe carb cleaner burning off or something similar

had new battery like 5 months ago...extractors 3 weeks ago....revs stayed up for a while without air con on....batt relearning....now its with the air con on
