Default Angle Eye Headlights

Just wondering if anybody, knows of an Angel Eye conversions? or more specifically an XR, i'm also wondering if anybody knows what the size of the low beam headlight is in an XR?

low beam headlight will be a H4 im pretty sure. they are on normal AU's.

i dont know of anyone who has done an angel eye mod. i want to do one on my car, tapping into the park light fuse. just knowing how to do it would be cool.

the lights are actually standard size hella lights...so if you can disasemble the XR housing and replace them with hella angle eyes of the same size you'll even be ADR approved lol.

orbit, you wouldn't happen to know a part no. for the angel eyes. i've founda place in the us that sell them and yes it is hella, but i can't seem to find them on the web site.

these ones fro the states are 5.25", would these be the same size as for an xr?

lol i've been looking for the measurements of the lights but i can't find them.
best bet for advice is to PM doc on this forum. hes the headlight man.

The reason this mod is it's not suitable for the AUXR is because the beams cannot be seperated (glass from case), & replacement/aftermarket inserts would mean modifying the AU brackets (I certainly wouldn't recommend it as I explained to 99XR6 via PM). This has been covered in another thread, the AUXR headlight (bracket) is specific for that model & no other inserts will fit straight into them. I hope this clears things up.

I'm not too sure about the diameter of the xr lights,but i have just about finished retro fitting some HID e61 bi zenons into my fairlane.
These came with angel eyes and they sized up well to the lights in the au (nu)fairlane.

i've had a talk with The Dok, and by the sounds of it it will be a big job to put some angle eyes into the xr as the headlights are part of a larger assembly and can't be seperated.
