Does anyone know with the roof interior light in the au falcon where the wire runs down to? I can't seem to find it anywhere and need to tap into it or which side of the car it runs down

It's a green/yellow and a black wire to the light. Which side it runs down, I have no idea, but why would you need to tap into it?

I was trying to tap into it so the led comes on when the interior light does and turns off at the same time as well. I found the wire however the led stays on perminately even when the car is locked, I don't see why as its tapped directly into the interior light wire so sould do the same thing?

The green/yellow wire will stay energized for 1/2 hr after locking the doors
You need to run the LED using the Green/Yellow for +ve and the Black/Blue for -ve The Black/Blue is grounded only when the interior lights are on and either disconnected or goes +ve (not sure which) to turn the interior lighting off - it sounds like you have the LED grounded against something else. |
