Default $22K for an EL XR8

Nice car, but the asking price seems a little bit over the top to me...

Carsales EL XR8 22K

[Edit] I just browsed through the rest of the XRs on offer on that site. Either I'm completely out of touch with E series values or there's a lot of dreamers out there.

Seems a bit high, there is no mention of any mechanical changes to the HO motor so I can't see the value.

For a car that has done 168,000km, 15k (no extras) is a ripoff.

You could get a BAII-BF XR8 for not much more from an Auction group easily.

Is he saying he has had the diff replaced? Ie Borg Warner to what? And does that also mean he has had the gearbox replaced as well?

its not had that much done to it really, has it?

I do NOT like those plates.

When will people realise just cause you have spent $15,000 modifying the car, that doesn’t mean the car is now worth $15,000 more. :

Parents/partner mght have demanded he put it up for sale when he was suspended...could be a clever ploy to make sure he still owns it when he gets his licence back.

Ding ding ding! Well, that's what i thought anyways...

Actually looks like a really nice car, i 'd proudly park her in my garage. Unfortunately, really nice cars can be had for much less in the year 2006.

FPR sticker a disappointing extra :(

He may also have a massive fine to pay, and debt from all the mods, hence the high price.

Yep all tremecs, my old EF was a tremec T5. He is asking too much for it, my ef had 150,000 on the clock and it wouldnt have gone for more than 10,500. he's full of it, i can get an 03 XR6 turbo manual leather and premo sound for that price, ok it might be wholesale, but who cares, i can still get it!
