Hi guys. I have a V8 Cleveland in a 70 model Ford Capri. Im trying to find a suitable radiator with minimal mods required. Iv been told to fit a Centura radiator but its near impossable to find one. Any advise????

I know a bloke in canberra with a centura that hes wrecking out, if you close or would be willing to pay postage I'll get in his ear for you.

the big commodore V8 tripple core cross flow radiator is a good start

as it turns out the bloke sold the centura about 10 minutes before I posted that, but looking at another one he has there (that hes not selling) I reckon its about the size of an original XC radiator.

bolt in (have fun)commodore will fit in width but they are to high,radiator shop can cut it down in height.pwr do an alloy one for around the $800 mark(can pm tech drawing of it)although what i did was buy a new alloy one of ebay for $400 and got it cut down and pins mounted for under $150.

Thanks for all the help. I want to reduce cutting as much as possable. I will go out and enquire about these radiators. I know that a re cored Centura one seems to be the go but damn they are hard to get.

I think that most people use the XA-XC cross flow type radiator mounted behind the bonnet slam panel & in front of the welded in lowe cross member with a section of the front stone tray cut out for extra air flow.
