There is a feature in Street Fords on it and the GT40.

when people show me lambos and porshes i think wow they are nice but YES so out of my reach why drool? i appreciate cars like gt's and clubbys because for the price they are very exciting cars. anyone can make a nice car for half a mill but to make a car under 100 grand and be increadble then that is somthing to look up to. but after seeing this car and reading the specs then it really makes me freak out at what technology can do if you have the right money. 0-60mph in 2.8 seconds, that is faster then a v8 supercar. this car is a freak. unlike alot of other supercars its worth alot but also the specs make you say "its worth it"

Specs are pretty impressive, but think of what you could do to a falcon with $585,000 :hihi:

1994 Porsche-Dauer 962 LeMans, RRP $853,473 US 3.0litre DOHC 24-valve Twin-Turbo Watercooled Flat-Six 545kW (730hp) @ 7400rpm 700Nm (517ftlbs) @ 5000rpm 7800rpm redline Five-Speed Sequential 1082kg 0-100km/h in 2.6 seconds 0-160km/h in 5.95 seconds 0-1/4 Mile in 8.91 @ 151.10 mph (241.76km/h) Top Speed - (Official) 404.2km/h (252mph) Goal was/still is to built 50, they've built 13. 37 to go. Basically a road going car of the 1994 winner of the LeMans 24 Hours. Here's a stat or two to think about... in the time it takes a Ferrari Enzo or McLaren F1 to do the 1/4 mile, this car is doing 300km/h, and in the time it takes a Bugatti EB 16/4 Veyron to hit 300km/h, this car is doing 400km/h. Absolutley the most awesome car of all time if you ask me, and such a shame the McLaren F1 stole its potential fame simply because of a production number.

That 1/4 mile time looks a little off, doesn't it? You don't have any 60fts do you? If it is or not those are some impressive engine figures from a 3.0L. Sequential? Yikes!! Is that a semi or full two pedal job? Clutch off the line ala Superstock style or foot brake job and hold on? : Cheers.

My Dream Car.....Chevy Nova 454 Manual. But probably in dark red with black stripes or black with silver stripes. Or yellow with black stripes. Bet this would lay strips off the lights. Imagine how it would sound with a big fat carby a big cam and dual pipes woooohoooooo!

Nice for sure, I've never really been able to get into Supercars or the flash Mercedes etc.....pull up in a classic hot rod or muscle car you notice you'll get more attention.
Wonder what the Saleen would set you back?

The engine is "just" a Chev pushrod V8 so it has a cross against its name right from the start Even a Falcon has overhead cams these days. Its too long and too heavy too low tech to really be an outstanding supercar and the price tag is way too high for what you get. There are any number of manufacturers that make an equivalent for a third of the price... the Ultima and Noble for example. Or if you want a more refined equivalent, try a Lamborgini Murcielago LP640 at half the price. |
