Exclamation Damn , Stacked the Car ...

Well , as the Title sugests , i stacked my Car today ...

Was Driving on the Dirt Road in Dandenong , and Took the Corner a bit too hard , the car took over , lost control and wedged it in between 2 Trees ... Lucky , after a 6km Walk , Kev_blown_XR8_ute came to the Rescue and With the Help of a Passing by Truck , Got the car out and limped it to G&D .

Got it on the Hoists and Justin Looked over it , Everthing is Fine , Nothing is Broken , Bent or Screwed , which is Good ,

but the Front Passenger Quater Panel is Beyond Repair and The Front Bumper will need Replacing ...

Photos to come when Kev posts em Up , But yeah , what a Day ..

Spose i could get my AWC front Bar now ...

Daniel

That's not good at all, but at least it's a cheap, victimless lesson learnt!

I have a front quarter panel in bare metal. I'm pretty sure it's passenger side, along with the 2 door skins and rear quarter.

It's not that bad. Daniel called around before to show me.
Needs new front guard, re-align and prep and paint front bar.
I think his pride took more of a battering than the car!

Worry about the money later - she'll be right mate!

Just bald tyres. Sad thing is he's already got new ones lined up, just not in time.

Sorry to hear Daniel.

You are ok, that's priority 1 sorted.

Car is repairable, that's priority 2 sorted.

Date of repair? That's priority 3!

When you fix it up, if it's a weekday next week or the week after, I may be able to come over as well; school holidays and all! It'd be good to catch up with you.

Let me know when it's going ahead.

GK

Bad luck mate. I know exactly how ya feel, I wrote my old car off on a gravel road by trying to swerve a fallen branch. But something good always comes out of something bad, ie. opportunity for awc bar. Hey, if it wasn't for my crash then I wouldn't have joined the AU brotherhood, and would still be driving a holden...

I know the feeling mate, I cleaned up a keep left sign on a corner. Lesson learnt the hard way. Could have been worse but, luckily you're all good

What a bugger, unfortunatley **** happens sometimes. I guess most of us have had a little excursion (or two) - you're the unlucky one who found a tree
