I have a set of Difillipo's on my 347 Windsor AU ute....I previously had Pacey's and now Difillipo's....to be honest I think the Pacey's had alot more down low....and it seems better up high with the Difillipo's....which make sense as my Pacey's were Tri y's and the Di Fillipo's are 4-1....I cant be sure about this as I havent had a tune done with my new exhaust....I guess when I see the dyno print out I will know for sure...I will post the results...currently it puts out around 270 rwkw (Pacey Exhaust)!!!

I believe the DiFillipos have 1 3/4" primarys and a 3" collector. They are big big headers. Probably too big for a mild 302 IMO...

If you speak to Chris(bluepower) he will tell you to use Pacemaker for the old windsor motor

I have the difilippo's on both utes, they work very well.
I would not recomend them for a stock auto though as ive driven one and it was very doughy down low. It all depends on the rest of the exhaust aswell. On my manual ute, it didnt lose any torque down low at all. |

Do a search & everything will be clear about which header works the best on Windsors[& its not Dpillopo's]

so what most people are saying is dont even bother with the pacemaker comps as it will lose too much dow low. i alaready have a twin 2 1/2 inch cat back exhaust on and its manual thanx for the responses. regards from adam

Pacemaker comps will work quite well IMO.
They are no bigger than the pacemaker tri-y's (same 1 5/8" pri and 2 1/4" collector size), they are instead a tuned length "4 into 1" design instead of an interference "tri-y" design.

But it is weird, because they are the same size collector, and same size primary....just different design. :
