Default Rust repair

Hi all. I had an epiphany today to join a Ford Forum, as I am sick of being one of the few people in Sydney to own a classic Ford with some go. I feel so lonely amongst all the plastic fantastic i see on the streets.

Anyway enough rubbish talk.

I own a '75 Mk1 Escort Sedan. It enjoyed a bare metal respray a few years back, but has begun to cop some rust at the very base of the front panel...inevitable.

Can anyone point in the right direction of a good bloke to do some cutting and metal-patching? It's a pretty small job and I am hands on so would love to be a tool mule and pick up what I can in the process.

Thanks alot everyone.

There is a 'good rust repair bloke' mentioned in the paint and panel section, also in Sydney.

Ill try and post the details.. ok found:

Well, the rust work on my XB is done. A great job too. If anyone needs rust repairs done, I can thoroughly recommend Michael who did mine. He does a top job . He plates and Migs everything, and he usually doesnt mind if you watch him work (so u can see its done right).
If u need some work done, give him a call and tell him I (Paul - Mulberry XB) gave you the number.
He's located in Sydneys outer west.
