Soooooo.... they haven't reset their trip meter. Big deal. Not everyone uses it.
What were they thinking? I'm going to have to drive nearly 1900kms before I can take those photos to sell my car. That will show how fuel efficient it is. :

I think what myxr6 is getting at here is that the avg. fuel consumption is very high, meaning the car has probably been driven pretty hard (an avg of 40l per 100k's is bloody high!).
Hence the humor in placing said pic in the ad.

Some cars come with an instant L/100klms as compared to average, so if sitting idling the litres will just shoot up.
Some the BMWs come with a needle so as you floor it, the needle just goes to 35-40 l/100klms. Last edited by cosmo20btt; 06-02-2010 at 05:28 PM. |
