Hey guys,
How much a week do you usually spend on your car; fuel, maintainence, go-faster bits, etc? My EA seems to use $50 or so a week in fuel, put in a new clutch last week, and bought a caliper kit for the seizing handbrake. I didn't worry too much before, but vehicle costs are becoming silly, just wondering how much everyone else forks out. |

Fuel costs has blown my 'typical' weekly spending big time. I reckon I go through $50 - $60 of fuel a week :(
Apart from fuel, there's always something that needs work/replacing on the car... gotta love the e-series :P

Atleast $90 per week on Fuel, $300pw off my loan, $100pw towards the wagon fund, as for mods probably $20 - 30. Not many mods happening at the moment, as i need to eat and stuff

hrm lets see, 100 a week towards the loan for the thing, about 60-70 bucks on ultimate and usually another 50-100 on maintenance and mods. leaves me with about 30-40 bucks spare after the regular bugdet items. but hey the car is my entertainment so i dont really care.

We spend around $50 on LPG and petrol for both cars atm. Since June/July we have spent over $3000 on the EA (just spent another $120 getting an engine mount welded and replaced)... the rolla costs are mainly rego and a few small things here and there. She isn't like the Ford.

$15 a week in juice and nothing else exept rego and a litre of oil every 3 months. the old xc 250 6 cost me $1500 rwc reg 3 years ago... washed twice. changed oil, plugs once (cant do the oil again as the sump plug is stripped )
my last daily was a 13b bridgeport powered rx7 that used $160 a week at 80c a litre .ran 14.4 @95mph so was a good fun daily. |

What ever it is I will pay it. My car gives me enjoyment and I put the "bills" from my car in the entertainment column along with Bourbon not in the bills column with the phone bill. But regularly will use $80 fuel a week and insurance $160 a month. Everything else comes in at random times.
