Just checked the TV guide for Sunday Night and found the above! 7:30pm on the History Channel and 9:30pm on History Channel 2.
We didn't win Bathurst but at least we get prime billing on the box!!!! |

Its worth it just to see the Phase 3 rev up and dump the clutch to leave two big black lines down the road. And the Phase 4, man that sounds so tough.

Just finished watching it.
I still think the XY GT is the best GT ever built. Yeah I noticed it was quite old. |

Hey cool, just checked the TV guide, not the sort of thing you expect to see on hisory channel (we get your history, discovery, nat geo, etc in NZ via SKY digital), Im not going to bother watching it though, I picked about 5 years ago on VHS. I watched it on TV on the Carshow a while ago too (we used to get that here too on Prime which is owned by 9)
Its a good doco though, have watched it plenty of times. I love that blue XY ute right at the end with the all the smoke pouring off the back tyres. |

Personally i think they should have more indepth reviews and testing video's of all the GT's particularly newer stuff EB GT and EL GT like topgear does with their cars.
Say get Bowe to drive an EB and EL GT around the speed bowl and talk about its handling and what was tweaked. Show the new GT's through its paces around corners. Get the engineers to run through what they did to get the engine to 200kw.

I stumbled across it in my post bathurst/suzuka channel clicking bonanza. It was OK, not as detailed as the plethora of 'the history of holden' docos they've run before.
Phase IV was definately worth watching for. If there's one thing the world needs, it's more cars being fitted with a roll cage. A very young looking glen seton in 1998?? lol EDIT: PS. 351W EA? Yes, please.

It was good having the interviews with Moffatt, Dick Johnson and Seaton. Good to watch. I enjoyed it.

the most successful GT had 4 doors. the most prolific GT had 4 doors. to answer your question they could fit bigger meat under the **** end in group C. as for production racing a 4 door GT was just about ready when the rug was pulled. |
