Default 1600 crossflow

has any 1 seen or got any dyno graphs of the lil 1600 crossflow reaching around 8500 rpm??? on www.hot-escort.net, in the forums on there a couple of guy claim their 1600's can reach as much as 9000rpm! just wondering whether this is bull or not...

1.6 Kent engine was used in Formula Ford, and some engines were able to be reved upto 10'000 RPM!! There is no rev limit regulations. But wouldn't be practicle on a road car.

If you're interested, have a read of the link below on the spec's and regulations for a Formula Ford engine, and everything else Formula Ford for 2004.

hmmm thats pretty interesting, almost all the parts used are standard and arent allowed to me strengthened!
