Welcome Ralliart (Erik), some good info to be found on here, and some fun as well, you also dont have to own a falcon, a number of members have never owned a Ford even and been enjoying the forums for a long time.

Hi all aussie ford forum members, my name is john and i purchased an AU 5.0L LTD a couple of weeks ago.

I am slowly going to do a few more mods to it but at this stage all i have done is had the windows tinted darker and put a cat back exhaust system.

I have attached a few pics of it as well.

Thanks and hope to speak to you all soon.

Cheers
John

G'day all!

Just rejoined the Ford Owners ranks after a five year absense, with the purchase of an el cheapo 30th anniversary EA Wagon.
Although I do have a Nissan Patrol G60 powered by Ford (250 log top)
Over 32 years I've owned about 25 Fords, 20 of them Falcons, From XM through to EB, and including a XY GTHO, and a XT wagon built specially to XR GT specs by Ford for my Grandfather. (he ordered a XR but they ran out)
Also had a 52 Mainline Ute, couple Mk3 Zephyrs, Mk2 ute, and assorted tincornas.

G'day all.... have been on here for couple of weeks finding info for my Landau restore
Ive had the Landau for 8 years and she need to be cleaned up a little... before that i had a XC 351 Sundowner PV which i loved to bits but the rust did also (best surf car)
My first car was a XB 250 manual 'three on the tree' which did some great roll backs
in fact the newest car a have ever owned is the XC

Classic not plastic

Gday to all, thought I would show off my pride and joy here. I have only had my '03 BA XR6 for about a week now and lurve it! I am a complete Ford convert now, having owned just about every sort of Holden before this. I am just so impressed by the BA and had to have one.

Just picked up the car from the exhaust shop where they put on a sweet sounding sports exhaust with extractors etc. My new personalised plates turned up the other day as well, so it is not only looking good now but it sounds sh!thot!!!!!!!!

In the new year I am going to get a new set of wheels, probably 19"ers. So will be looking to offload the current set then, keep an eye out

Here it is

hi all, used the site the other day for the first time and found it to be very usefull. nice bunch of people. obvious though, you can only trust ford drivers. my father started my love of the blue oval back in 77 when he bought a xw gt specifically to tow a caravan to cairns and back to sydney. what a car!, the horror story is that after his death in 1980 we sold the car, as was his wish, me being only a learner at the time, for the grand sum of $4500. I would prefer now if we never spoke of it again. I still wake up screaming. anyway after an xm, two xps, xa fairlane, xf pano and ea, i now own a 2000 au. great car. i do 50000 a year driving to sydney and back to bundanoon for work and bought the car with the intention of finding out just how many ks one will do. well, after considerable study, an au seemed to be the best choice for cheap, reliable, long distance work, done 150000 now and it still even smells like new. ill let you know how many i get from it before any major work is needed. anyway, love the site, merry xmas and new year. and never trust a holden driver.

Smile Hi Everyone,

My name is Tony and after having several fords over the years we have finally settled on a 95 EF fairmont. There is one problem i can't work out and if someone can point me in the direction i should post about it i may just receive a response that could put an end to my frustration with it!
Great site!!!!

By the way the problem is it has a irregular miss in the engine- have replaced all leads/plugs....the miss is not there all the time but more frequent up around 100 kms.....

Hey peeps...
Marc here, couple of weeks ago bought a BF XR6, 6 speed, Premium audio, Bionic. Traded in a EL Futura (got almost nothing for it).
What a difference, I'm in love with the 6 speed.

Hope it stands up to the test of time!
See ya all later.
