Default Finally got pics loaded of my wagon!!

hi guys
i know its been a long time coming, but i finally got my A into G and loaded up my wagon pics.

www.aufalcon.com/au2sw

easier then loading up to photobucket at the moment, may decide to do that at a later date.
planed mods (as finances allow):
*XR front bar (series3 with driving lights)
*18 x 8 rims (still deciding on style etc)
*XR wagon bodykit from AWC (minus rear wing)
*Blue vinal GT stripes
*Pacemaker extractors and 2 1/2" exhaust
*Freshen up of the interior

So far, all i have done is put her on LPG and added an XR8 Tickford CAI. Baby steps......but it will slowly come together....maybe even become better then JC's wagon?:P just kidding, but it'll be good when it's finally finished(?)

Nice base to work from. If you get the full AU1 XR wagon kit, yours will look better than mine - mine's a rear bar and pursuit front lip short of the total look I want!

what i want to know is, to go the xr8 s3 bar, will i need to change my bonnet to suit? remember, its an au2 wagon. i know jc's is the s1 bar, so needed the s1 bonnet. or are they all pretty much the same? i have to be honest and say i havent taken that much notice of the bonnets on the xr's:(
oh and thanx for the comments guys. all i can think about is the damage on the left side and a bit on the interior from the previous owner and so i kind of see it as not all that great...if you know what i mean.

Yep you will need a low series bonnet, the one with the crease and ford badge on it. Good luck with it I'll keep an eye out :P

Damage?? Was there really? Seriously didn't notice it on the cruise eh and I did get to see your beast quite a bit (considering which bunch you decided to group with : )

Your wagon was awesome and will be even more awesome after the 'freshen up'

I didnt even see the damage, but in the near future, I may have a spare au1 bonnet up for grabs, as I may be getting a high series bonnet, with the bulge, and a shaker chucked on top. Then my bonnet will go on mums car, and hers will be free. It is painted in organza though, so it will need a paint.

rear left door is dented and scratched about half way up skin nearly all the way across, the front left guard is squashed in at the light (which has a cracked lense), the paint was damaged, but i have done a quick paint job to sort of hide it a bit (and protect from rust, looks ok from a distance) and the front bar is hanging down a little. i did pull it up a little, but its hard to get it to sit right with the left guard the way it is. so if any one knows of anyone wrecking an au, grab the left rear door, and front left guard for me or at least let me know. not fussed on what colour they are, its not hard to paint a couple of panels.

Saw this one in town this afternoon Col. I was stopped at the lights so I got a happy snap of it. Maybe youve seen it around, theres also a blue one up over near the lighthouse area at Kings.

Too low for me, but still looks very nice with the XR bar.

ok thanks to qldwagons i now have a kit to start me off the TS50 front bar and SR side skirts. little bit of work to do to them, due to the enevitable scrapage and re spray to white to suit the rest of the car and run blue GT stripes (still not sure if i want the twin or triple stripes yet), but all in good time.
