Soon to be brother-in-law has this sitting in his shed and is thinking about selling it to fund the wedding.
All I know is it is an Aus delievered 'East German' RS2000. Does that sound right? Its got fibreglass everywhere, parently standard, it has a fiberglass undertray an every thing.. Any one know anything more about em? Cheers, Bermo |

The Escort boys will fire up over this.
From my memory the only fiberglass panels on the stock Aus RS2000’s were the nose cone. If it is fiberglass everywhere I’d say the moulds were for a sports sedan or something specialized like that.

How much do you want? Looks like a Zacspeed kit, but it could be just a normal RS.
What are the tags? If the guy knew what he was doing he wouldn't have kitted up a german spec RS. 99.9% sure they didn't come with that kit, and it was a X Pack option.

might be one of those special race prepped dealership sold cars after they pull the plug on the project or it was a left over shell from the rally days, i vaguely remember something about them.

76 model RS2000 = euro version which means they are worth a pretty penny.
Lucky man, those models complete and in mint condition were fetching over 15k 10 yrs ago. |
