Hey all
I just wanted to know if this is my clutch slipping?? When i floor it at low revs sometimes i get this big kick/or slip. Also when flooring it while cruising it feels like its loosing power then all of a sudden somethin kicks in and takes off?? I am trying to learn all this stuff as im pretty new to the AU/Manual scene. Cheers Frank

Ive had a few cars of mine slip in the past, not any au falcons though.
It sort of sounds like it is getting sticky! Just my two cents and more than likely i'm wrong lol. Regards Woody

often it will rev harder with no extra pull, try it on a steep hill- rev the gears out, you will feel it!

My old XG had a clutch starting to slip ... quick change into 2nd (after revving 1st out) would end in some higher than expected revs ... and slow take-off.
Good thing i sold it not long after that.

Yeah basically when you go to accelerate the car will rev higher and the car won't move until the revs are lowered and the clutch engages.
