how do i get the surround off around the heater dials??

There's 2 screws behind the ash tray, And 2 on each side around near the top of that other unit that's mounted in there.

Then just pull it its on clips!

yer i looked in the Technical Resources section and it said to remove the 4 screws but its still stuck??? thats why i ask.
i dont want to yank on it in case it snaps.
the middle un clips but the top and bottom are rock solid

i was just reading the technical resources thing regarding this, do you really have to take the radio out to get the centre oval shaped dash part out?? i was looking at it yesterday and it looks like it should come out around the radio/heater dials part??

has it been done??

nope just did it the whole thing has to come out to get the oval piece out there are 4 screws in the back holding it in

ok, next question is then, the radio removal tools are a retarded price for what they are, ive got a couple bits of TIG wire bout the right size im guessing they need some sort of notches in them to lock in to pull it out yeah? and if so which way do they face??

na you can buy the tools off ebay for $14
or do what i did
go to any local audio installer, i went to autobarn and ask them to just pop it out for you.
it took the guy 2 sec and cost nothing just had to ask
