How wide are your tyres? Are the rims genuine FPV's or copys? I run 245/35/19's with no issues with rubbing at all. Granted my suspension is only Low not SL, but Russell has SL on his with the same tyre spec and as far as I know has no issues. Wouldn't hurt to get your guards rolled anyway.

I have SL with short shocks, and 245/35/19 tyres and I don't hit on anything, and I haven't had to roll my guards. You'll need new shocks soon with SL, so you might as well put them in and get some use out of them. And roll the guards if you need too, it seems to vary from car to car for some reason.

$55 a guard for guard rolling is a bargain. I have been charged $165 for 2 guards before. :(

You wont realise that your shocks are buggered, because they slowly wear over time and without realising it you get used to it.
Roll the guards, but fairly soon I'd be replacing the shocks. Apart from the ride, its more of a safety issue.

Comes down to how much you want to spend on shocks to what you can have.
I personally wouldn't touch anything other than Koni or Bilstien. $55 you've been ripped off lol, I got quoted $35 a corner when I was getting a set of rims.(Probably discounted because I was spending $3800 on a set of rims) I ended up rolling the guards myself with a club lock over a few beers with a mate.

I had the same prob, was not the fact that I went to 19's, but the new rims are 8.5" wide when the old ones were 8". I had 245's on 18'x8" and the now 245's on 19x8.5. My front guards are already rolled so had to lift the car and stiffen the shocks a bit more...Koni adjustables, so wanst that much of a bother. You may be having the same issue. On a sharp dip in the road I still rub on the inner guard.

The joys of being lowered lol
I got 19" 245 tyres with rolled guards, still get scrubing certain bumps and dips. |

Yer 8.5" rim will spread the tyre even more had them many times with 245's. Offset of the rim is really important though. The major key with lowering your driving habit needs to change going into driveways, slower on angle then you'll be right. Funny you mention passenger side ,never had it that side always the drivers side for me. Also what shocks are in her now ? if they are the genuines still I'm sure they are cactus now anyway (how many k's on the car?), all they'll do is bottom out many more times now and blow the seals but the oil inside is probably airated and they are stuffed anyway. The pedder low product is fine don't listen to hear say by the way. Its a PIA to go through but worth the look :
