When he hits the embankment (damages car) about 10 sec later, car is fine....

V8SC's do less, and have flat tyres for that!

Nice driving, I wouldn't get close to that, well maybe after a few beers I would, ahhh who needs witches hats / cones when you got beers. Witches hats are for girl's..ahahaha

Certainly spectacular, but there's nothing here any rally driver worth his salt couldn't do - (In fact if you study the footage it is actually a fairly untidy run). Ken Block is something of an also-ran in the hierachy of Rallying so imagine the skill someone like Sebastien Loeb might show over the same course.

Come to think of it, Paddy Hopkirk was doing the same stuff in minis over 40 years ago.

Plenty on here, that's for sure...

Can't understand why people can't just appreciate something for what it is, I bet 99.99% of the keyboard hero's couldn't get anywhere near that level of driving.

Sure is a lot of negativity around here these days.... maybe it's the recession :

he is the owner / creator of DC shoes. does a few extreme sports like snowboarding etc, and just on a whim decided to give rallying a shot a few years back and took to it like a duck to water.

Pretty bloody good driving. Even if he did take a few practice goes, so what? I could practice that in that car for 2 years and still not get that good.

Yea, Pikes Peak Hill Climb is the shiznit. I've watched some great stuff over the years.

Next time I go to the US, i'll try and schedule this one in. Just like Bathurst, just only one crack at it (one run), rather than having a lot of chances to improve your next lap.

It just goes to show, what altitude can do to an engine. This is where you go, for testing the turbo out.
N/A's have a hard time.

Just watched the vid, lmao, yeah right take hand off wheel to block sun's glare, keep other hand to drive rally, lol now thats funny....

Yeah that was my favorite part to the hand into the sun but man the wheels on the edges : and with no co-driver and driving like that........
