Default No longer an AU owner

I have been a bit quiet but i have left the AU clan and moved the TE onto a new home.
I have enjoyed my stay in the migthy AU in my XR6 then onto the TE was the best car i had ever owned until now.
The AU imo is THE most underated falcon ever made and i think has and will stand the test of time as has been proven with numerous owners coming back to an AU.
I will still be active in here having a look around as there is always plenty of good builds etc going on.

Thanks guys
Dallas

That's fair enough...
They're a nice car, that's for sure...
Plenty of poke too from what I've seen..

Good luck with the new car mate...

I'm sure you'll still be hanging around the AU threads..!

Congrats, I thought the TE was becoming a weekender? Did you sell it to someone on the forum?

Did you trade the TE in on it...?
How much did they give you for the TE.. (pm me if you prefer)

Also, you could have sold me your engine cover before you got rid of the TE ya bugger...

Exactly what happened to my T2 TE50 when I traded it back in 2004..... gone before they had physical possession of it.

Well done on the purchase Dallas!, one of the best moves you could have made as the XR5T is a real blast to drive and is great on fuel while not getting you into too much trouble with the law..... It's always going to be sad to see such a great car go in the TE but though you will miss her, the turbo-hatch will help fill the void well and truly.

Daniel.

Thanks guys appreciate the kind words. As most people here know how i felt about the TE (And T Series in general) it was a sad day to hop out of her. But getting into the Focus helped to no end, i love it after almost 1000kms in it i love it even more. One day i will own another though, along side something like the focus.

The XR5T's are great cars and something i thought about long and hard trading my XR8 on, decided against it but i'll never rule out a change.

Looking at the performance of those things with a few mods is nothing less than amazing!

Dallas - shame you had to move the beast one. Totally understand why you did it. I hear the XR5 turbo's are a great little car. Enjoy it.
