With the launch of the all new Ford Ranger, Ford Australia (via Ogilvy 360 digital influence) will be giving away a Ford Ranger XLT Double Cab Pick-up.
The all-new Ranger has been Designed and Engineered in Aus and built to hangle just about any challenge that can be thrown at it. With that in mind, the competition organisers(mysteriously referred to as "The program") want to hear about your Ultimate Ranger Challenge. How would YOU put the new Ranger to the test??? Wanna go on an extreme fishing / camping trip / shopping trip?? Or simply Keen to help out & tow a few 'darksiders' home after failing to defeat the mighty Blue Oval on the track??? The winning entrant will get the chance to see their dream fulfilled, with the competition organisers filming the challenge being completed over the next few months.... Full competition details and entries can be found at fordrangerchallenge.com.au As part of a mini challenge for AFF members, let us know what challenge you'd put it to inside of this thread. Best idea/submission in this thread will receive a Ford prize pack (Ford Cap, Stubby Holder, Bar Runner, and Keyring)... Entries close June 19 (just over a fortnight away) so get cracking!!! Cape York up the Old Telegraph Track after a decent wet season.
Not sure you'd want it back after they did that to it though... Seriously? Family and camping gear, from the coast at Rocky out to Winton and then on to Richmond to do some fossil fossicking...a lazy 2500km-odd round trip of long highway miles where comfort is neccisary, and off road stops in between to places like the fossil grounds at Lark Quarry and other places near Winton, then on to the area surrounding Richmond to explore some remote creek beds. ...at least that's what i'd use it for... Make it do the Bourke & Wills journey overland! That's about the hardest and Aussiest test I can think of.

Something out of the box?
Tug of war at a boat ramp. Either the boat gets dragged up or the car gets dragged in. |

Congratulations to the winner of this mini challenge.
The winning entrant has been notified via pm. His entry is typically Australian, and something that the judging panel all agree would make for an excellent test of endurance for the New Ford RANGER. It is my sincere hope that one of the entries posted in this thread is the one chosen by "The program". Thank you to all entrants, & good luck in the main event guys.... *hehehe - AFF winner has deliberately been left off on this post. Check your inbox peoples......* |
