G'day... Had an 06 model Turbo for the past three years or so... just started using this forum to fix the (amazingly annoying) turbo oil feed filter fault. My batism of fire into home mechanic-ing. Actually, it's been really interesting and ... fun?

Howdy all

The Forum has been a great help keeping the BA Falcon Ute on the road over the years. However, just traded it for a new XR 6 Ute Limited Edition.

Hi, my family has been ford fans while I was the odd one (having liked Holden) out until recently I was influenced by my parents to like Ford. Perhaps a bit too much interaction with ford fans at V8 supercars events lol.

Thought I might join in the forums as I will be taking delivery of a 2012 Ford Focus trend. And that my father is also a member here as well

Cheers, Jason.

Hi Bagt-p634. Quite a few forum members now own GTP's. There is a heap of information on them in the performance section.

Hi ford kaos. Posting pics is relatively easy. Check under site support as there are a few threads showing you different ways to post them up

Hello All,

Just introducing myself as the new owner of a 2002 AU III Futura wagon fitted with a dual fuel system. My first experience with LPG and I look forward to this forum helping me understand the ins and outs of it.

Just finished a 14 year ride in a '94 ED wagon; prematurely stopped after someone rear-ended it. I was impressed by its engineering. After 420,000 Km, I still didn't need to buy oil between oil changes. I will be very happy if the AU III does as well.

Smile Re: brake upgrade

Gday All

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask a tech question if not can you direct me to where is!!!

Own a Plumbing company one of my recent purchases was BA 2003 falcon ute Cab chasis, 4.0l LPG no abs. The ute has XL tool body on the back.
The problem is its heavy and doesnt stop well, you need to apply fair amount of pedal then locks the front tyres, as rear brakes are doing virtually nothing.

Want to upgrade rears to territory rotors ect for extra braking capabilities, there is no fear of locking the rears as i have heaps of weight 1.1tons.
Do the territory rear brakes fit easily on the BA with 17"s without to much mods?
Appreciate any help thank you.

Smile Ford Forum Newbie with BA transmission headaches . .

Greetings Ford Forum users . . . !

I bought a BA Falcon from some dodgy international student truckies in the middle of the night out past Koriot Creek Rd.

2 days later the transmission popped.

Can I put an AU transmission in the place of a BA transmission?
