Taking delivery of my new SZ Terry TS diesel later this week. Can't wait to get the Jayco on the back but have to wire up the Tekonsha first. Looks like behind the Tamour door is a popular place for it? Any one else with suggestions?

G'day all, from SA.
Got a BA Futura, 321rwkw. Figured since I jumped ship to Ford, I might as well jump to the forums also. Do I really need to post 20 times before I can advertise my car? lol |

g'day all,
love the forum, viewing as a visitor and have found it to be a great resource. i got an eb xr6 ( really tired ) 2 years ago and instead of putting good money after bad thought i'd just better buy a newer car mostly to be trouble free. a month ago i got a ba xt low kms. thanks to these forums i decided to do the basics as soon as i purchased dropped the oil for full syn penrite, filters, new radiator and hoses (purchased davies craig cooler then thought i'd flush b4 install. rang around to be told na na na you just don't do that bypass-new radiators are too cheap), check pcv, keep eye on high press. pwr steer hose, looking to do fluids - steering, flush box, brakes. just found ppl don't like pumps for flushing i'm over in perth, the ba is I6 - auto. 90,000 on it. came on seeking the tranny flush technique. |

Howdy folks, Pin from nz. Have finished my ea project and happy as pig in poo!
Out went the 3.9 and in went the 351 clevo, Fmx. Gt front and rear bar, xr sideskirts and painted factory spermint green. 18 x 11 rear, 18x9 front. Lowered of course. few issues with starter motor getting in the road of steering box and squeezing the headers in. Love the cruising. Cheers |

Hey all, I work in the car sales industry and recently acquired a gem that was traded in: an AU2 XLS ute. 97k on the clock, still like new inside and out. I was needing a car so couldnt pass this up. Done 106 now and the timing chain needs to be done, starting to get a little noisy. Once thats done a set of headers and a high flow exhaust. I've joined here to get a little insight into what people get up to and experiences they have had, so heres a big wave!

Hi guys... I just bought a ba xr8 05 model and it makes a ticking noise for 2 seconds when I first started in the morning.I did some research and I'm assuming its the timing chain tensioner. I don't really have the cash to change the tensioners to metal would it be a problem if I drive like this for a while.

Hi Everyone
I am new here and would like to introduce myself. I am now on my seventh Fairlane being a 2005 BA. I don't know what I will do if this one doesn't see me through as they don't make them any more and that disappoints me. Ross |

G'day guys here's my ride, an AU II XR8 that I've had for 2 months, it has 71,000km's on the clock. Premium brakes, Leather interior. And is in as new condition.
I've done a couple little mods like a full exhaust, flash tune, cold induction and K&N filter and now have 190kw atw's. I'm pleased to be a member on this site. Last edited by The Big V; 19-11-2012 at 09:43 PM. |
