At this point I'd say you'd have as much chance of finding an original unit as you would an XD one. Hang in there, keep looking and save the buggering around.
Sure they're a bit slow but add a decent set of wiper blades and they should do the trick.

I'm assuming XD/XE/XF/XG/XH motors are the same - this thread covers putting a BA motor into an XE:
