Thats the thing. I saw it on facebook as a random thing on my feed and they had no details of it either. I think it was something someones Nonna made so it could be a one off. But it gives me ideas now to maybe look at creating my own version.

Not me though as, like potato, it's a nightshade vegetable that will cause my psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis to flare up causing severe gastrointestinal bleeding (seems the gut is essentially an extension of the skin). Albeit usually less so than potato that is much worse for me and they add so much potato powder to so many common processed foods.

To hell with sharing. I'm having the lot.

She ordered the zucchini fritters, poached egg and tahini dressing.

OOps I done it again. Kevino, no I didn't share.

To nice a day to be eating baked goods at home, besides we still have half a family sized apple pie left for later.

Great spot by the Ovens.

Merry Christmas fellow food and bakery lovers.

It's a tradition in my family that I bake the fruit cake and one of my daughters decorated it for me. This year, a simple snowman theme with footprints and a stack of snowballs.

Once it's cut, I'll post a photo of the contents.

Yes it's a marzipan sub layer under the icing. It's another family tradition as far as I can remember.
