hi have a 2002 auto laser that keeps kicking down at lower speeds when it warms up while the hold light is on
any help would be great |

Start by reading Section 1-11 of the Laser KQ WSM in our tech portal but also try checking for DTC's using an OBD scan tool (like Forscan) as I couldn't see how kickdown is controlled but I suspect the kickdown cable needs adjusting.

its ok till it warms up then the hold light starts flashing and the trans starts to shift hard into gears even starting off into first goes in hard only when it warms up and hold light starts flashing. the tps only had 1 screw in it and i have rectified that still does it. if you take out if i/d it seems to want to start off in second gear ?
. please help |
