yeh the guy said it was a racing clutch, maybe its just a heavy duty one but its not seized.
is it a common thing for the clutch to seize? |

Hi Patrick!
PaddyBoy Lives round the corner from me. He Came to my place on saturday when I was polishing my car for AFD to have a look at my car to buy it. Yesterday morning he rang me To ask me to make the descision if I wanted to sell to him or not. By the time I called back to say yes he'd bought the XR..... You'd better thank him, If he'd bought my car, I'd be driving a ford fiesta Zetec Today!!! hahahaha no really. ahem. Anyways Pat, We gotta take some photos of the cars together now at Pound Bend mate. I'm off to work at 11.45, you know where I am, you should come past, I wanna see this car and we'll take some shots ;) cheers, -Dan EDIT: AS for the clutch, It sounds like its getting older and the cable may be seizing, as My clutch is also a heavy duty PBR Racing Clutch (Triple plate :hihi: umm no.) and its not stiff at all. But the stiffness you're talking about should be fairly normal so long as its not so stiff that its about to rip the firewall and pedal box (Like my old one!). I'd have to check it for ya, should be fine.... Last edited by Danny; 24-02-2005 at 02:29 AM. |
