Default Cordeaux Dam Run

Cruise to Cordeaux Dam – Sunday 21st May.

Meeting Point is at Krispy Kremes Liverpool on Orange Grove Rd at 9am.
Depart at 9.30am


Turning left on Orange Grove Rd.
Turn right at Hume Highway then continue for 7 Km’s onto Camden Valley Way.
Travel approx 10 Km’s along Camden Valley Way.

Turn right into Cobbitty Rd and head past Oran Park race track.
Turn left The Northern Rd.
Turn right into Cobbitty Rd (cont of previous Cobbitty Rd) travel for approx 7 Km’s.

Turn right at Werombi Rd, travel for approx 8 Km’s.

Turn left Bobs Range Rd, travel for approx 8 Km’s.

Swing left into Silverdale Rd follow along for approx 6 Km’s, then veering to the right onto John St at The Oaks, then onto Montpelier Drive for approx 15 Km’s.
(Same stretch of road but name changes)

Turn right Barkers Lodge Rd for about 400m.
Turn left into Mowbray Park Rd and continue for 5 Km’s.

Turn left into Lakesland Rd veering to the right onto Oaks Rd drive for approx 6 Km’s.

Turn left into Thirlmere Way, follow for about 7 Km’s.

Turn left at Argyle St, follow for 3 Km’s

Turn right into Menangle St which changes into Picton Rd, follow for approx 20 Km’s (you will pass over the F5)

Turn right into Cordeaux Dam Rd and follow down to picnic area.

Rating
Family so bring everyone along as this is a short cruise of about 2 hours.

Cost
Tank of fuel & lunch

Information
Cordeaux Dam has plenty of parking with BBQ's, Hot water for tea or coffee, tables & chairs with some of then under cover, playing grounds for kids to play on, areas for you to wash up in & toilets. Lunch can be a BBQ or a pack picnic, bring what you need as there is no shops near by, but if needed we could arrange a stop on route to pick up food & drinks in Picton. You might want to bring you own folding chairs as there is only bench seating at the picnic area.

Just a comment guys,

I've gone over those roads countless times before, and going through the driections, that sounds like a excellent cruise run. Although there are potholes that jump out of no where, as well as loose gravel on the road especially around Silverdale heading down to Picton, just keep an eye out for them.

Thats most of Sydney roads. :
But i went along most of them lately & there not tht bad at the moment.

What an awesome day that was, the weather was good the turn out was great & the day was just an out right laugh.

I would like to thank Marryann & Dave for the loan of the car over the weekend, you guys are LEGENDS....
