Default I just did a flat 12 in my ute.

Hey all you herd right i just did a flat 12 in my ute. :nutsycuck
I have just got back form Adelaide and averaged a 11.9 to a flat 12 liters to a 100 kay's for the trip home. Thought that may have get some of you going....lol

Geez Kev, I couldn't even scrape in a flat 17 on the way across! For the record the old GT managed 17.7 litres / 100 km on the way over. Thats 15.8 miles / gallon in the old money.

You should have got better than that on the way back or are you blaming bad fuel economy on the quick stint past 4 (or was it 5) cars in one go. lol

Having just worked it out (though I think I will need to recheck the figures) I got 14 litres / 100 km, or 20 miles / gallon on the way back.

That was an average speed of 115 to 120 real speed,(my speedo is out by 6) apart from the average overtaking speed of about 160...Ohh and the air con was on the whole time if I didnt mention that...

Some of us get under 9L/100kms cruising... but we don't count cause we're darksiders. Btw, that figure is for cammed engines!
