Picked up a Lynx Ramflo filter for my weber 32/36. It was fairly cheap compared to other suppliers coming in at just under $50 from Motormate (SA). They dont stock the 32/36 model so they ordered it in. A good deal...so i thought.
Turns out that the oil breather hose spout is in the wrong spot, opposite side to the original. I can't even get a modified hose to it, there just isn't enough room. Can't turn filter around, only fits on one way. Whether this is a manufacturing defect specific to mine or all their filters are like that, I do not know. Not sure whether to take it back or modify it. Has anybody got one of these or had similar experiences? Check out the pics. I placed the Ramflo ontop of my old filter. |
