Fair enough mate. I'll leave it alone to get back on track. Ian Plimer's book which I think I mentioned earlier in this thread discusses theories for warming and cooling including cosmic radiation, and solar flares together with earth 'wobbles'.
I don't recall if he mentions magnetism as it is quite in depth. A friend has the book at the moment and when I get it back I will search for any info on magnetism and post those details if any.
