Question XR4 needs some new rims :)

hey guys, just trying to source some new rims for the gf's XR4 (2007).

shes got Eibachs in it, so is just sitting just above the tyre on the rear, and the front is resting on bumpstops (so we removing half an inch out of the fronts to get the front to match the rear).

and thats where my problem lies... now i know its 4x108 and roughly +40 offset (?), and the stock rims are 17x7.

we are looking at some rims, 17x7 +40 .. EASY ... but also some 18x7.5 +40/45 rims...

SO... will 7.5" wide rims be an issue with scrubbing on rear/front?
