My AU series 1 has done 305,000km (just bought it a month ago), has got 5 to 6 hairline cracks in sump and transmission is starting to wine (the reason so cheap I guess).
Wreckers are chasing $120 just for the sump. I have just found a whole car for $300 but its a series 2 with 160,000km on clock, There is nothing mechanically wrong with engine or transmission, so is it as easy as unbolt series 1 and then bolt in series 2 engine and transmission? |
