Great choice!
I too had a 3v in a BA xt. Loved it and never had a problem. Torque on tap down low but it's completely out of breath at 5000. They originally went into the F-150 so they are most definitely a truck motor but purrrfect for a cat. Well done mate, I reckon you've just built the best jag conversion in the land.
